Ebiking

After a wait of several weeks I finally took delivery of a new electric bike or Ebike as they are more commonly known that I have purchased from BikeSeven at Longtown. All features were well explained to me but I'm sure I'll have forgotten most of them by tomorrow. I phoned Tootlepedal hoping he would be up for a short pedal. We headed for Wauchope Schoolhouse then on to the top of Callister.

The bike is quite heavy and robust but this isn't noticeable due to the assisted power. Although it makes for easier cycling you still have to put some effort into pedaling, but certainly makes the hills much more of a pleasure to go up, which is one of the main reasons I bought the bike. Hopefully I'll get miles of pleasure in the future.

  1. A very sound purchase if you ask me. It was an honour to trail along in your wake.

  2. Hope this new transport kickstarts your blog (with photies) which I am sure has been missed by many.

  3. Sandy. I have been catching up with your blog as I hadn't checked it for a good few weeks because of course we have been in California visiting Fraser and his family. I hope you have many years of happy cycling.
