Life in Black & White

I've just returned from an overnight stay in Haddington to look after my youngest grandson Sandy while his dad took Joe to his first rock concert, they went to see Mogwai.

While everyone was at school and work I took the opportunity to try out my new camera on a monochrome setting I got some excellent results and apart from the odd bit cropping the results are what the camera produced.

I wondered around the town looking for interesting  patterns and good  contrasting images.

I found these metal ties on the parapet on Nungate Bridge intriguing.

In the evening Sandy let me practise my portrait skills by posing for me

  2. I like your variety of B & W shots - they certainly draw attention to texture.
