Shot of the Day
Well, that's half term come to an end. It's been a mixed week weather wise but on the whole a most enjoyable one. The highlight being, having Joe & Sandy to stay last weekend.
Thumbs up for Granpa's pancakes
Popcorn is OK as well
Today's sunshine was in complete contrast to yesterday which was rather dreich. After lunch I paid a visit to the moorland feeder station to see if I could improve on the disappointing shots I took on my last visit with Tootlepedal. Cat Barlow appeared to see that her ringing nets were in good order and to give her dog some exercise. The following pictures are a selection I took today.
The "shot of the day" bird looks like a really grumpy bandit! I like the perspective of the shots of the meandering stone walls.
ReplyDeleteI have a thing about meandering walls and fences.
DeleteNice shot of the heron! Good of the woodpecker to show up.
ReplyDeleteThere were four woodpeckers at one time but none in camera shot.
DeleteHi Sandy, like mj my favourite picture here is the second one of a drystane dyke.
ReplyDeleteLovely profile of the heron too.
Thanks Jim. The heron is quite tame and allows you to get quite close.
DeleteThe walls are great. I like the siskin close up too. Don't work too hard.
ReplyDeleteI always work hard!
